Baby L was brought to Door of Hope as a very sick little girl, last Monday and she has been in hospital ever since. She is extremely malnourished as well as HIV positive. Over the course of the week she has been fighting gastro and refusing to eat. They had to put her on oxygen and continally increase the amount. Last night baby L stopped breathing for a bit. Currently she is on a very high dose of O2 (almost the highest you can be without needed ventilation) and due to her HIV they will not ventilate her. It is also extemely hard because it is the weekend which means that baby L's regular Dr is not on duty so they will not do a whole lot for her until Monday. Baby L has two names and together they mean "Beautiful Grace".
Beautiful Grace needs all the prayers that she can get right now as she fights for her life in a government hospital. Please keep her in your hearts over the next few days and pray for her often. She is a fighter to have survived this long and I pray that she continues to fight through it.
